Imparts a delicate peat and smoke character. Typical for classic German beer styles, also an ideal ingredient for creating a unique whisky. In higher proportions this malt gives your whisky a rich smoky and peaty flavour. Contains gluten.
Phenols: 5-10 ppm.
Usage
For Classic German beer styles: use up to 10% of the mix.
For all types of whisky for a distinct smoky flavour, true Scotch whiskies. Up to 100% of the mix.
